Business means that we focus our efforts on helping enterprises that aim to deliver value to customers, rewards for their owners and purposeful work for their associates. Systems thinking underpins our ways of working as all business activities are interrelated and understanding these relationships is critical to delivering sustainable change. Engineering means that we are concerned with design, operations, processes, work and results. We base our approach on Systems Thinking  and Lean, using tools, methods and principles from both disciplines to apply to business problem situations with the aim of delivering Sustainable Breakthrough Change.

We are unashamedly different, and our services are not universally applicable in all change situations. We do have specialist skills and practical experienced and we can help businesses deliver real change. We achieve the most impressive results when we work in a close and trusted partnership with our clients. We have found that we work best with organisations have some beliefs and principles that guide their ways of working. Many of these relate to their beliefs about people in terms of customers, business owners and associates. Some examples include:

  • People want to work for successful businesses
  • Respect and professional trust are the foundations of sustainable change
  • Passion, enthusiasm and inspiration are important as well as hard work and persistance
  • People always have options, choices and responsibilities.
  • People come to work wanting to do a good job.
  • Success breeds success and frequently businesses have hidden capabilities that are the seeds of change
  • Understanding the business context and history is important

We understand that it can frequently seem that these principles have become lost or buried  especially when organisations become overloaded with change initiatives and the focus of the work on key strategic goals has become blurred. Organisations can start to fragment, customers service declines and people revert to their functional silos and fire fighting behaviour. made at an individual and collective level determine the outcomes and the results.
